Federal Junior Duck Stamp Judging in California for the First Time

The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Competition (JDS) winged its way out of the Washington D.C. area for the first time ever – and into California.  The event took place at the San Diego zoo on April 17th, and brought a prestigious win by Lydia Han of San Jose, California, who placed second and stole the show with her enthusiasm for all things waterfowl.

The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Competition is a non-traditional pairing of art and science that spans cultural, ethnic, social and geographic boundaries to promote awareness of our nation’s natural resources.  To learn more about the program and how your students can get involved, click here>>>
